The 5 ZDCs of our district provide sugarcane production facilities, training, agricultural equipment, improved seeds, fertilizer and other benefits on grant/subsidy basis to farmers.
East Champaran (Purvi Champaran) is a district of great historical importance, known for its association with Mahatma Gandhi’s Champaran Satyagraha. The district administration is committed to inclusive development, transparent governance, and effective public service delivery.
Our focus areas include education, health, agriculture, infrastructure development, women empowerment, and welfare of marginalized sections of society. Law and order, disaster management, and citizen safety remain our top priorities.
I urge all citizens of East Champaran to actively participate in the development process and cooperate with the administration in building a peaceful, progressive, and self-reliant district.
